The essence of Winter Movement Practices is to find the balance between overexertion and stagnation

How can we practice in a way that supports our nervous system and overall well-being? Winter invites us to slow down and practice moving our bodies in different ways to better synchronize with the rhythms of nature.

This workshop is a collection of some of my favorite, most accessible movement practices-intentionally designed for all bodies, all abilities, all energy levels. This includes simple feel-good guided somatic movement explorations on the floor, different techniques to release tension, and practices to help shift our state and improve circulation of blood, qi, lymph, cerebrospinal fluid, attention.

We wish to support you moving well, taking good care of this amazing miracle we call a body, and widening your toolkit of what brings us enjoyment and pleasure in this precious life.
